Sonobuoy launchers, this is the port side.

There are 2 main Sonobuoy launchers, this is the port side one. Each launcher could be preloaded with six Sonobuoys which allowed rapid delivery into the sea search area. The aircraft was at low level and de-pressurised for this operation.

There are 2 single Sonobuoy launchers, this is the port side one. They were the means of launching a Sonobuoy whilst the aircraft was pressurised.
