As the project enters its next major phase — focused on the preservation, relocation, disassembly and long-term restoration of Nimrod XV232 — memberships remain an important way for supporters to stay involved and help secure the aircraft’s future.

Membership Benefits Update

Due to the closure of public access to the aircraft and the ongoing relocation work, tours and onboard visits to XV232 are no longer possible. As a result, previous tour-related membership discounts and visitor benefits have now been withdrawn.

Memberships are now focused on supporting the preservation and future restoration of the aircraft rather than providing visitor access benefits.

Memberships Temporarily Suspended

Due to the ongoing relocation and preservation programme, the following membership options are currently suspended for new applicants:

• 5 Year Membership
• Lifetime Membership

These options may return in the future once the aircraft has been safely relocated and the long-term plans for public access become clearer.

Supporting the Relocation of XV232

All membership fees and donations received are now being used to help fund the relocation of XV232 to her future home at the .

This includes supporting:

• Aircraft relocation and transport costs
• Disassembly and engineering preparation
• Specialist lifting and haulage services
• Preservation equipment and materials
• Long-term restoration and display planning
