Nimrod XV232 is one of the last surviving examples of Britain’s iconic maritime patrol aircraft and a veteran of the Cold War era.
Following the closure of Coventry Airport, the aircraft is currently being prepared for relocation to its future home in partnership with the RAF Manston History Museum. This complex preservation project will ensure that XV232 remains accessible to future generations and continues to tell the story of Britain’s maritime aviation heritage.
